Dr. Raby Featured in Harper's Bazaar and ELLE Magazine

 

In case you missed it, here's a recap of the appearances Theri Griego-Raby, MD, ABHM, made in Harper's Bazaar and ELLEmagazine earlier this year. Dr. Raby encouraged readers to "win the fight against germs by supercharging your natural defenses" in a feature on immune-boosting foods.

 

The feature highlighted 13 foods and spices guaranteed to help keep readers healthy when everyone else seems to be coughing and sneezing. Dr. Raby and Iron Chef judge Candice Kumai tout the health benefits of each item - from Greek yogurt to turmeric.

 

Turmeric, for example, "is best known for giving Indian curry its distinct color and taste - it is rich in a compound called curcumin, and this delicious yellow seasoning has a high antioxidant value and is a powerful anti-inflammatory," Dr. Raby tells the magazine.
