What is Integrative Internal Medicine?

The focus of Integrative Internal Medicine is optimal health, wellness, and disease prevention, in addition to the effective treatment of chronic conditions. Your time with our integrative physicians is for exploring your primary concerns, and reviewing in-depth your whole health history. Our physicians will listen to you, get to know you and your specific concerns, and work with you to develop a customized health and wellness plan which combines several integrative medical approaches.

Integrative Internal Medicine - Primary Care

Raby Institute board-certified internists and practitioners offer a full range of traditional primary care services including routine physicals and immunizations, acute care, diagnosis, treatment and management of chronic pain and illness, as well as a variety of health screenings. All of these are delivered in an integrative setting. Because our primary care physicians are also trained in integrative approaches, you receive the benefit of having your primary and integrative care coordinated and delivered by a single physician who is familiar with you and your health history.

Integrative Internal Medicine - Consultations

Dr. Raby is available to consult with patients referred by their primary care physicians to the Raby Institute to incorporate integrative therapies into their conventional treatment plans. We will communicate directly with your referring physician to guarantee that the integrative options we recommend complement your treatment and we coordinate with them to ensure that you are receiving the best possible care and attention.

Who Uses Integrative Internal Medicine?

Many patients with complicated medical problems choose Integrative Internal Medicine because they are seeking to reduce their medications, avoid side-effects of those medications, or supplement other care. In many cases, integrative medicine can relieve symptoms that weren't alleviated through conventional medicine alone. Almost all of our patients come to us seeking a preventative, holistic approach to health.
