John has a passion for health and wellness. Fueling this passion, he has worked in business development and marketing within the health care industry for more than 15 years. Through his personal and professional experience he has come to truly appreciate the benefits of an integrated approach to practicing medicine. He believes that in an integrative setting the practice provides patients with personalized care that is focused on their unique health and wellness needs. In this process all medical resources/traditions are considered in caring for an individual. John also believes this approach to health and wellness is a better use of society's resources, keeping people healthier and more engaged in their personal well being.
Prior to joining the Raby Institute, John was the Associate Vice President of Marketing for Adventist Midwest Health. He had oversight for all regional marketing
initiatives for the four-hospital system. In addition, his team also managed AMH's intranet and internet, the physician referral call center and development of a customer relationship management data warehouse. John also worked in various capacities for Advocate Health Care in Oak Brook, IL. John graduated from DePaul University with an MBA in Leadership and Change Management and received his BA in Marketing Management from the University of St.Thomas.
At the Raby Institute, his belief in an
integrative approach and his past experience in healthcare marketing and development come together. He looks forward to the opportunity to use his skills and experience to help grow the Raby Institute, a center focused on a holistic, patient-centric approach to health.
