New Acupuncture Programs at the Raby Institute

If you've never tried acupuncture, this fall may be a good time to start. The Raby Institute has initiated two new programs, focusing on Facial Rejuvenation and Fertility.

Fertility Program

This treatment series helps stabilize hormones in the body to aid in conception, and assists couples in analyzing their overall health. Fertility acupuncture has the potential to improve ovarian and follicular function, as well as increase blood flow to the endometrium, with minimal risks.

"This program is primarily about regulating the hormones in the menstrual cycle. This is where I see the biggest improvement," said Acupuncturist Michelle Goebel-Angel, LAc, MSOM, MBA. "But it's also about reducing stress and learning more about your body's natural rhythms."

The program includes essential oils and a book for continued at-home education.

Facial Rejuvenation

For people looking for a facelift without the complexities of surgery, the Facial Rejuvenation Program works to "bring your inner beauty to the surface, without creating disharmonies within," Goebel-Angel said. The full program includes the Nacré skin line products and take-home tools.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture aims to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, sagging, and discoloration, while also supporting overall health. Benefits of this non-surgical approach include:

• Reduced fine lines and wrinkles

• Less costly than surgery with no recovery time or side effects

• Youthfulness and beauty achieved naturally

• Tightened pores

• Improved muscle tone

• Increased collagen production

"Facial Rejuvenation adds a glow to the skin tone, and evens it from the inside-out by using clean products and balancing the overall health of the body," Goebel-Angel said.

Look for monthly beauty happy hours, with educational talks focused on nutrition and clean products, beginning next year at the Raby Institute. To schedule an appointment with Michelle Goebel-Angel, go online or call the Raby Institute at (312) 276-1212.
