Patient Information

People come to The Raby Institute for many different reasons. Some are healthy and want to stay that way by learning and practicing more holistic approaches to wellness. Some have symptoms that conventional medicine can't alleviate, and want healthcare that draws on a vast array of healing traditions. Some, with complicated medical problems, want to take fewer medications, relieve side-effects, or supplement other types of medical care.

Many of our patients believe their experience with conventional healthcare is lacking. They often describe exams that feel rushed; physicians that seem clinical, cursory, and impersonal; and a focus on symptoms, conditions, and diseases that leaves them feeling unseen, unheard, and confused about their own care.

At the Raby Institute, it is our mission to actively partner with our patients and provide them with resources that empower them to consciously author their own wellness with knowledge, hope, and support. This is a place to bring your body, mind, and spirit. Here, you will find physicians and practitioners who take the time to listen, to create a space for you to share your questions, deepest concerns, frustrations, and fears. Here, we emphasize creating empowering physician-patient relationships that are interactive and engaging; warm and empathetic; based in mutuality; and quite possibly, are relationships for life.
