Sejal Gehani, MSN, FNP
Sejal Gehani, MSN, FNP is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience working with patients. Sejal focuses on integrative methods of diagnosis and treatment as well as preventative measures to address the whole person. She is attentive and educates patients about the importance of healthy lifestyles. Sejal’s passion is in helping each person engage in their own path to improved health by focusing on holistic wellness.
Sejal worked at The Uptown Teen Clinic at Children’s Memorial Hospital for over 5 years where she provided comprehensive care to the adolescent population and precepted medical students and pediatric residents. She recently started a Teen Walk-In Clinic at a Chicago based Community Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic 2 years ago and provides acute primary medical care to a wide range of patients.
Sejal received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Michigan State University in 1997 and worked as a nurse in Women’s Health at Massachusetts General Hospital, and then went on to expand her knowledge and training by completing her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification at Boston College in 2000.
Sejal is a co-founder of a non-profit organization, Commit2Change, that focuses on raising awareness for disadvantaged youth in India. Her programs include working with orphanages and slums to help implement educational, medical and nutritional programs to help better the lives of the underserved.
In her spare time, Sejal enjoys practicing Vinyasa Flow yoga, cooking healthy meals, and travelling with her family.
