Sunday Perkins

Customer Service Manager

There is a bright ray of sunshine beaming on the phone lines! It is none other than Sunday Perkins, who joined the Raby Institute for Integrative Medicine in early August 2010.  At the Raby Institute, Sunday combines her personal interest in natural and integrative healing with her professional background in broadcasting and customer service to provide patients with a pleasant and engaging experience from the first "Hello!"

Sunday's interests in healthy living began early in her life when she observed her mother taking a variety of medications for several chronic ailments. Rather than become dependent herself, she chose to take a different, more conscious and engaged approach to maintaining her health by changing her eating habits, praying and taking authority over her body.

Sunday comes from a diverse background which includes broadcasting and customer service, among other things.  She graduated from Western Illinois University with a BA in Communications and went on to complete an internship at WBBM-TV in Chicago.  She has more than 15 years of customer service experience gained mostly from her work with ComEd.

Sunday is not new to the medical industry.  She has worked for a medical media training firm, a medical wholesale book company and a dental manufacturing company.  Through all of her job transitions she has maintained her love of television and broadcasting.  She is an active member of her church and operates the cameras for their live webcast almost every week.

Making the most of Chicago's cultural offerings, Sunday enjoys season tickets at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, concerts at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and plays at the Goodman Theater.  She is currently working on several books she plans to publish, as well as developing a non-profit organization and several other business ventures.

"Dr. Raby's approach to patient care is advanced far beyond that of other physicians. She has a softened, holistic approach to healing. She is caring, takes her time with patients and incorporates the spiritual aspects, which is a very important part of healing."
