Stephanie Baubie, NP

Nurse Practitioner

Stephanie graduated from University of Michigan with her bachelors in nursing in 2014. She was a registered nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital on a post surgical floor for 5 years before she became a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her healthcare journey really took off while getting her masters in nursing at Loyola University of Chicago. She realized how little western medicine focused on lifestyle modifications to prevent and treat chronic illness. This led her to do her own research and she stumbled upon integrative medicine where her true passion lies. Her whole mindset of healthcare transitioned into treating individuals as a whole and promoting wellness through holistic approaches.

She spent a little over a year working at NorthShore University Health System as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the immediate care centers. While she was able to build an exceptional knowledge base as a provider, she yearned to have her own patients and practice integrative medicine.

Stephanie is currently getting her certification for functional and integrative medicine through the institute of functional medicine. She hopes to complete her certification in summer 2022.

Stephanie believes one’s health should be focused on wellness. Wellness puts just as much emphasis in physical well-being as mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well being. All of these areas need to be in balance in order for the body to thrive, not just survive.

Has anyone ever asked you when you last felt well? Let’s take this journey together to make wellness a lifestyle so you can reach your body’s full potential.
