Integrative Hypnosis

What is Integrative Hypnosis?

The use of hypnotic-like trance dates back thousands of years, but hypnosis began to grow during the late 18th-century from a physician named Franz Mesmer. Since then, hypnosis has evolved and improved to what it stands for today, to help unlock your best self.

Hypnosis is a subconscious mental state of highly focused attention or concentration, often associated with relaxation, and heightened suggestibility. People in a hypnotic state often seem asleep or oblivious, but in reality they are in a state of hyperfocus. The relaxation of the  body and guidance of the mind during hypnosis allows you to concentrate on a much deeper level on your goals, aspirations, and problem areas. Everyone experience a form of hypnosis everyday, whether it is on the way to work, watching TV or indulged in a good book.

What is the impact of hypnosis?

The personal experience of hypnosis is different from one individual to another. Some hypnotized individuals report feeling a sense of detachment or extreme relaxation during the hypnotic state while others feel that their actions seem to occur subconsciously. Other individuals may remain fully aware and able to carry out conversations while under hypnosis. Through these varied but impactful results of hypnosis many different therapeutic breakthroughs can be achieved.

Could I Benefit from Integrative Hypnosis?

Humans are complex beings and in the course of a lifetime, we are likely to face any number of multiplex challenges. People tend to wait to seek help until they experience a personal crisis, such as a breakup, debilitating fear, illness, addiction, severe fatigue or loss. However, we all need help and healing in life, and we all could benefit from talking to someone trained to guide with compassion and empathy into the realm of the subconscious. Remember, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis.
